Acceptance.
We talked yesterday about not having the energy or capacity to get done what you think needs doing. And that, at times, it’s OK to wait, to rest, to pass on what needs finishing
Accepting that we only control what we can—and letting go of the parts we can’t or won’t change—reserves our capacity for the places where it’s useful.
The difficult part is knowing the difference, then focusing energy and leverage where they can make a difference.
A while back, I was told something over that stuck with me:
“Please don’t always try to fix my problems. First, listen and support.”
Open tomorrow.
