Asking why?
Nearly everything we do is for an audience of one
It’s Monday.
We’ve shared discord about not letting the day play you. Often, though, this habitual condition is hard to resist.
“Rainy days and Mondays always get me down.” “Nothin’ to do but frown.”
118 published posts, for what? And I’m still frowning. Well, not really—more questioning why. Asking why, and for who. This was the cause of Thursday’s hiccup, where a dose of Not great set in.
I’ve banged on about turning up, commitment, changing habits, looking through a different lens. Again, why?
That’s what I plan to ask today. Find some quiet time. Don’t rush to the next thing. Ask the questions, find the answers—right or wrong, they’re reasons to keep going.
Yesterday was a coaching day. They feed me, give me what I need—a fix, time doing what comes easiest. Now for some hard yards.
Driving, a single line from a nondescript podcast stuck:
“Nearly everything we do is for an audience of one.”
I’ll share the outcomes tomorrow.
